The Art of
Mindful Travel
Slow Down. Go Deeper. Come Home Changed.
High Value, Low Impact
We believe that true travel is about the depth of the experience, not the footprint left behind. Our philosophy is rooted in local expertise and a deep respect for the Kingdom of Bhutan's natural heritage. We design every curated expedition to maximize your cultural and environmental value while minimizing our physical impact, ensuring a journey that is as sustainable as it is memorable.

Baeyul Excursion
"Baeyul"- meaning sacred hidden valleys. Immerse in seven days journey through Paro, Haa, and Phobjikha — three of Bhutan's cleanest, quietest valleys — where 7th-century temples and fortress-dzongs sit inside a living landscape of rhododendron forests, alpine wildlife, and some of the purest air left on Earth
The Druk Path Trek
Eight days, four of them on foot above the tree line — gentle hikes among trout filled alpine lakes, blue sheep on the ridge lines, and three Himalayan giants on the horizon, all led by a guide crew for whom your safety is the whole job, not an afterthought
Lho Mon Khazhi
"Lho Mon Khazhi" meaning Southern Land of Four Approaches. Sixteen days, one continuous line across the map — from Tiger's Nest in the far west to silk-weaving villages and pilgrimage stupas near the Indian border, this is the only journey that shows you all of Bhutan, not just the part most travelers see.
Voices of the Himalayas
"The most profound journey of my life. Shangrila Expeditions didn't just show us Bhutan; they taught us how to be present in its sacred silence."
Sarah Francisco
"A perfect blend of adventure and cultural depth. Our customized itinerary was exactly what we needed to explore the hidden valleys of Paro."
Cecille D.
"The 'High Value, Low Impact' philosophy was evident in every detail. We felt like guests in a private sanctuary."
